Character Tags

As you can see above (and below), in Pub Crawlers both of our new mercenaries have a list of three tags. I’d like to call your attention to the “micro” tag. Whereas the original six classes in Buttons & Bugs were mercenaries shrunken down by magical means, the two new classes in Pub Crawlers are micro, meaning that they are naturally small, and the micro world is their home. 

Within Pub Crawlers, whether you are playing as a shrunken or micro mercenary will impact which scenarios you play and the storyline you experience. Try out the Fungal Monk and Whistlecry, but also test your skills with your favorite mercenaries from the original game!

Deck Construction

One other thing you may have noticed in the above and below images is that each mercenary has five level 1 and five level 2 cards listed instead of four cards like in the original game. Just like in Buttons & Bugs, in Pub Crawlers you will bring four double-sided cards with you into each scenario. But in Pub Crawlers you will choose four of your five available cards to bring, giving you an impactful (and potentially agonizing) decision to make before each scenario!
